mrs loba past away last night (9pm), sa martes po libing nya. sa mga naulila ng isa sa mga ipinagmamalaking guro ng acoje.. taos pusong pakikiramay po sa inyo...

The body of our beloved teacher (and my ninang) , Mrs. Loba, is in Naic, Cavite, where I'm from. But right now, I'm in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. One of her sons, Joven (aka Totoy), just went on a short vacation last week. Hindi nya inaasahan na mangyayari ito. Ang mga kinakapatid ko, Joven, Nonoy, and Neneng were in Subic yesterday when Mrs. Loba had an attack.

Isa ako sa mga naging estudyante ni Maám Loba na kung saan ay siya rin ang adviser ko sa grade 4 Apple noong 1975.Para sa akin isa siyang napakagaling na guro ng ating mahal na Acoje.Dahil sa kanyang kagalingan,tapat at parang magulang na rin natin kung ituring sa kanyang pagtuturo ay naging inspirasyon ko siya at lahat ng mga guro natin sa Acoje.Saludo ako sa mahal kung adviser,dahil sa kanya at sa lahat ng naging teacher ko sa Acoje ay naging maganda at maayos naman ang trabaho.Alam ko,at alam nating lahat na ang pagiging istrikto ng ating mahal na mga guro ay para sa ating kinabukasan.
Paalam po maám,mahal ka naming lahat,sampu ng aking mga kapatid at nakikiramay kami sa inyong naulilang mga anak si Nonoy.Totoy at si Neneng,at sa inyong mahal na asawa.

My heart goes out to all of you. May it be of consolation that thousands of friends reach out to hold your hand in this time of mourning and sadness,
and may this loss help us to find the peace and happiness she brought. The acojenian lost a great teacher, May we all keep memories of her.

im one of her pupils in grade 4. she is strict but lucky i am because i never got spanked. best subject ko was social studies where i excelled in philippine geography.

attending her class was never easy but its worth it. part of my being was because of her

i used to be sent an errand sa bahay nila sa sec.4 where i always get amazed at how spic and span ng floor nila.
