Im currently working on some designs for the Acoje shirt. A project we also planned in 2008. Maybe, I could dig those designs for these project. I can also help for the printing of the Acoje shirt for I once have an experience in silkscreen printing from my former employer. We do printing jobs for JAG, LEE and TRIBAL Shirts.
GREAT CRASH, I WILL COORDINATE WITH YOU THEN :D
GREAT :D :D :D "Itaguyod ang pagkakaisa" somebody posted that but I can't recall who. Crash yong may " Acoje Logo" , if ever you're coming up w/ the designs. Thanks.

hi doc/joy

how are you guys? good you already have the bank account. at least as early as this time we can make deposits. i'd like to add on the suggested tshirts. actually this can be worn by all delegates to the reunion. what is indicated will include the dates of the reunion of course, the title of the event and if we can add the batch year of everyone attending. at least you can identify your colleagues. syempre hindi libre. this is part of fund raising. any updates? i'm just here waiting to help you guys. do you have already representatives from each batch para sa next meeting kasama sila? just asking. i have casted my vote for the dates of the reunion but i will still follow the majority. next meeting should be in acoje. di ba dapat? :D

Better voluntary contributions not mandatory tag hirap na ngayon sa buong mundo so those hu could afford to contribute the said 1000 pesos will do.Masakit din sa bulsa nung mga karruba natin na nawalan ng work at this time na hu wants to join our reunion nxt year.I suggest acoje logo na lang lagay sa tshirt para we can use it too everyday color coding na lang cguro bawat batch so we can identify wat batch were belong. wat do u think doc debz?Just Asking

Good AM Kaaruba, just my concerns w/ regards to the T-shirts..

If the batch year would be included, is it going to be the elementary or HS?? A lot of us didnt finish the HS or elementary there, so which batch do we belong? I would turn red if somebody approached me and say " we're same batch" and i dont know the person. We'll all introduce ourselves but its kind of awkward feeling. How many t shirts per batch? What happens w/ the shirts if there's too much or not enough for evry batch? There is registry, but what if they decided not to attend/appear on the last minute? What about our old folks, i'm sure they'd love to wear one. Di ba puwedeng universal, one for all, all for one?

Saloobin lang po.

Dahil sa global crisis, ang hirap mglabas ng pera ... Pero I believe nsa proper money magement din yan (not that I am the treasurer 4 the 2010 event ha). This event was planned last April of 2008 pa (2yrs. preparation), non p lang 1,000 na npag-usapan. U've seen the line-up of activities & projects ... We need funds people. It's time 2 give back 2 d community. Sana ngtabi na tayo paunti-unti, lalo na't excited tayong lahat umuwi.

Let me tell u a story ...
My students (Special kids) expressed their dream 2 visit the Manila Ocean Park 4 r class field trip. Sabihin p lang ang plano sa parents, sakit na sa ulo. So what i did was, i wrote a letter 2 parents (signed by the Principal, of course) asking them permission na i will collect P10/day per students or f dey want 2 dposit more (it started June of 2008). Parang banking, i made passbooks, withdrawal slips and deposit slips. Nagustuhan ng parents, 100% ang support nila. Evry month, nag-o-audit ang buong class. I also designed games patterned from famous TV shows like Deal or No Deal, Game Ka Na Ba?, Amazing Race. We play during review week to make learning more fun. Winners will be given money (prizes) na galing din sa parents (lalabas na lang sa monthly bills nila.) The money accumulated per student was dposited to their individual accounts. It was fun! 13 students ko, nka-25,000 din kami. Yes, additional workload pero it was worth it. Ang sobrang pera, gnamit namin sa class X-mas party and may inuwi pa sila 2 dposit sa real account nila. 8)

Lesson: SAVE

Ading Gayem let me try to answer your question and maybe a suggestion as well to the organizer i hope. Your right Gayyem there's a lot of Acojenians who didn't graduate in acoje and they may be wanted to attend to.

What a bout a color coding per section like me from section 2 our color is green then there is a logo that i belong to batch 85 at least even i don't belong to any batch, i belong to a section where i could start to mingle.

To ading Mavic and Tommy i think 1K pesos is fair enough. Considering all the activities and most especially the help that we could give to our almamater. One thing more others will come with there families.

Ken maysa pay this event wil just happens once in a while, maybe the next one is after 10 yrs.

Narigat no voluntary lang what about if everybody just give 10, 20, 30, wenno kunam men 100 pesos, kurang piman nga adayo nga mang finance ti activities.

Ti makunak mga ading just think about the joy, excitement and help that we could give back where we grow up and the school where we started to learn ABCD, 12345, ken ti intayo mangsabatan our fellow KAARUBAS.

Thanks a lot for the organizer, i appreciate all your effort and commitment to make this event succesful and fruitful. Yuor labour is not and vain, mabuhay kayo.

My suggestion about the t shirt is before you make an order i think it's better that you confirm those people who are coming and they willing to give advance payment for their shirt. Because i don't know where you could get money to give advance for a thousand orders of shirt, unless some one is going to shoulder first or if we got funds.

I used to be one the organizer of sportfeast ket normally we collect money first before order shirt no money no order of shirt ta narigat ti agsinger, This is our strict policy, unless some one will shoulder willing to sacrifice or if we got pundo and the organizer willing to do it.

Hangang dito na lang muna mga kaaruba, next time ulit i hope i contribute some insight.

Hi Ate Nida!!! Who will forget you? Not me.. huh! A lot of joyful memories has happened in ur staff house and i cant simply forget that. Remember those BSEM and BSMET trainees we made friends with? Di ba palaging party sa inyo.lol.. Cant forget ur family, i miss mama puring. We attended the wedding of one of Kuya Boy's kid here in Baguio. Ate Yolly was there, Kuya Jessie as well.. but u were no where in sight.. I worked with Philex Mining Corporation for almost 20 years at its Assay Laboratory. I availed my early retirement in 2005 and nagtour na lang sa US and Canada.. Para bang napagod. hehehe.. Kuya Mar, Rodel and Elmer are still with Philex. Nanay is still alive though partly handicapped. Here's my number Ate, 09209182759. I will appreciate very much if u update me with Acoje's forthcoming events. I missed that one held last december.. Thanks po for taking some of ur time out.. God bless

i was not able to attend to my niece's wedding because i was very busy then. you know naman the work in the tourism especially in Subic Bay. i'm in charge kasi of the VIP services/ tour operations and tourism linkages. so you're based in baguio? sayang you were not able to make it last december. it had been more happier kung marami pang dumating. pretty sure will have another one this year before the grand reunion next year. i am so excited to see all the acojenians. am so thankful with this site kasi nabuhay ang acoje. as if i am in acoje when you are reading all the news and messages. give my regards to your brothers and sisters and of course to nanay. this is my email ad: adin_ojor@yahoo.com. god bless
