I am very sorry for the loss Eva, my heartfelt condolence.

I agree with badette, there is an appointed time for everything, a time to be born & a time to die and with that I hope it somehow alleviate the grief that is within you and with your other family members. We will all die & that we will all face death in an appointed time but what matters is how we lived life and how we have expressed our love with our parents while they were with us, to persons around us and how we have obeyed our Maker.

If i may just add another verse...

Ecclesiates 9:10 MKJV Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might; for there is no work, nor plan, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave where you go.

Death reminds us that there is an end to life here on earth, so whatever your hand finds to do do it while you can. There is no work after death, no more anything. Love those that are still with us for after they die they will no longer know anything, their love, their hate and even their memory is gone, they can't even remember even their house, they can't go back anymore.

Job 7:9-10 MKJV As the cloud falls and vanishes away, so he who goes down to the grave shall come up no more. (10) He shall return no more to his house, nor shall his place know him any more.

Ecc 9:5-6 MKJV For the living know that they shall die; but the dead do not know anything, nor do they have any more a reward; for their memory is forgotten. (6) Also their love, and their hatred, and their envy, is now perished; nor do they any longer have a part forever in all that is done under the sun.

Be strong Eva, we all are grieved for the loss but life has to go on and whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all you might. Our hope is that we will all see each other again in a place where death no longer exist, where there are no more tears, where there is no more grief.

Revelation 21:4 MKJV And God will wipe away all tears from their eyes. And there will be no more death, nor mourning, nor crying out, nor will there be any more pain; for the first things passed away.
