I prepared these rules a long time ago (thanks to the ShareParadise community) and forgot the directory where I saved the file. My apologies people for not posting this earlier. Read, understand, and if you have any comments, violent reactions, or suggestions, feel free to send me a private message. Regards to everyone.
General Rules
You agree that when you use this forum, you will abide to all the rules set by us.
The General Rules below applied to each and every room in this forum:
1. No Spam
2. No Active Link Posting
3. No Offensive Language
4. No Racism/Discrimination
5. Don't post prohibited content
6. Advertisement must be in rooms dedicated to it
There are also "common-sense" rules such as: No Double Posting, Post in the Right Section, ... that we assume you must know and follow.
1. Do Not Hotlink Here
What is hotlinking?
That is posting link to (direct) download from other site like this:
http://www.someothersite.com/path/movie.avi (this is just an example)
Why can't you use "hotlinking"?
Hotlinking steals their bandwidth, which will add to their traffic and eventually slow down their connection.
What should you do?
If you know any place to get movie/music/etc., and you want to share, please just post the address to their sites and tell people how to go there and get the links.
Any exception?
No.
What we do?
1. When we find any violation, the first thing we do is that we delete all your links.
2. Then we will delete your posts.
3. We will give you your first warning, and after that we will raise your warning.
2. No Active Links
What is an active link?
It's a link highlighted in a separate color that when you click on it takes you to another site.
Why can't you use active link?
To put it simple, when users click on you active links to visit other sites, those sites can trace back the traffic and find out that those users come from this site, which we don't want.
How to post link
If you are posting link for download, we strongly recommend you use the link-system in our site. If you are posting link to other site, or just that you don't want to use the link-system, put all your links between the code tags
[*code]http://www.Yourlink.com[*/code] (remove *)
Any exception?
Yes, there are exceptions, you are allowed to direct link to these websites:
• All free file/image host sites such as YouTube, MegaUpload, Imageshack, etc.
• Anime encyclopedias/databases such as AniDB.net, AnimeNewsNetwo rk.com and AnimeNFO.com.
• Wikipedia.org
What we do?
1. When we find any violation, the first thing we do is that we will edit your post, put your link in the code tags.
2. Then we will give you a warning.
3. A PM will be sent to you, telling you that you are violating the rules.
4. If you violate the rule again, you will get your another warning, and then each time after that we will raise your warn level. Level 4 = BAN.
3. What is SPAM?
Short Pointless Annoying Message
Spamming an internet forum in general, is when a user posts something which is off-topic or doesn't have anything to do with the current subject. Also, a post that doesn't contribute to the thread whatsoever is also considered spam in some cases. A third form of Forum Spamming is where a person repeatedly posts about a certain subject in a manner that is unwanted by (and possibly annoying to) the general population of the forum. Lastly there is also the case where a person posts messages solely for the purpose of increasing his or her ranking on the forum. In a broader sense, advertising on forums where it is not wanted is known as spamming and is generally seen as an annoyance.(wikipedia)
Why can't you SPAM?
Well, we just don't want to have such things on this forum, there are plenty forums out there allow such thing, but as long as you are in this forum you must abide to it's rules.
Any exception?
None
What we do?
1. When we find any violation, the first thing we do is that we DELETE your post.
2. Then we will give you a warning.
3. If you violate the rule again, we will raise your warn level. Level 4 = BAN.
4. No Offensive Language
What is "offensive language"?
You know, some words start with the letter F or S,... Words that are considered profane, sexual or other adult words that may not be seen by members of all ages, words that may hurt the feelings of other users. Such are not allowed here.
Why can't you use "offensive language"?
Well, again, this is common sense. Many users (including me) use it without any mean to harm/insult anyone, but such language may bother other people. And we are on a public forum, we don't know who are reading our post, so let's respect other people as well as ourselves and stop using such language here.
Any exception?
None
What we do?
1. When we find any violation, the first thing we do is that we edit your post, clean out those words.
2. Then we will give you a warning.
3. A PM will be sent to you to remind you.
4. If you violate the rule again, we will do the first 3 steps again. On the 4th time, we will raise your warning level, level 4 = BAN.
5. No Racism/Discrimination
What is Racism/Discrimination?
Racism refers to various belief systems maintaining that humans can be separated into various groups based on physical attributes and that these groupings determine or influence cultural or individual achievement or the essential value of human beings.
To discriminate socially is to make a distinction between people on the basis of class or category without regard to individual merit. Examples include racial, religious, sexual, disability, ethnic, height-related, and age-related discrimination . Distinctions between people which are based just on individual merit (such as personal achievement, skill or ability) are not considered discriminatory.
